And yes, I see many 3D scenes with crazy-coloured skies. I think most are intentional, since many want to see what a "realistic" landscape would look like with a different sky
Two larger ones in the background and a smaller one in the foreground, which kinda pokes through the outskirts of the overlying background terrains and thus creates those lump rocks.
As for the material, that wasn't me. It's one of the built-in materials -- "sandstone" or something with desert... can't remember. But I was very surprised how well it turned out
... I'm not totally against weird-colored skies. I'd just like to see some effort behind it to make those scenes a bit more believable. For example, yellow clouds would result from sulfur in the atmosphere, but then the terrain would be somehow eroded...
Actually, I thought the rocks would turn out a bit sharper. Now they look more like sandstone. But the eroded look still somehow fits, I guess...
I occasionally use different colored atmospheres..
